Paul Omotosho, the All Progressives Congress (APC) chairman in Ekiti State, has been kidnapped.

On Saturday evening, Omotosho was kidnapped along the Agbado-Imesi-Ekiti road in the state’s Gbonyin Local Government Area.
Omotosho, who is from Imesi-Ekiti, was on his way to his hometown when the gunmen assaulted his vehicle with random gunshots before dragging him to the bush, according to a close source who confirmed the situation to newsmen.

Confirming the event, Segun Dipe, the state APC Publicity Secretary, told reporters, “Yes, our chairman was kidnapped this evening, and we are already working with security agencies to secure his release.”
